B.Com(Logistics & Supply Chain Management)
Sindhi College has been offering B.Com courses for a long time. This course has catered to many a students to develop their professional competence and build their careers in the field of business and commerce. This course has opened up plethora of career and higher study opportunities which included Company secretaries, Chartered accountants, Cost accountants, banking finance and management. After conducting a detailed study, the management of our college has identified the requirement to introduce courses which could cater to the needs of “ Logistics and supply chain management. Our college has recently w.e.f 2019-20 academic year introduced a three year B.com degree course in Logistics and supply chain management.
The Value Added Programme is an activity beyond BU curriculum is an additional input imparted to the students, which enable them to carve a niche in the corporate world. Interactive lectures, pedagogy that is evolving, assignments and assessments that all students achieve the specified outcomes.

Department of Management
Management is the buzzword in today’s commercial world. Management as
a subject of study has evolved in to a separate stream. Managing organizations of
different nature require different tools and techniques to find the solutions to its
problems. From Hospitals to Hotels, Spiritual Centre to Sports Academy, an NGO
to Event Management, every organization requires a different approach that is akin
to the kind of the activities they engage in. Multitude dimensions of Management
have enough tools in its kit to fix the problems of any organization.
The Department of Management has been functioning since 2003-2004.
Like a mighty river takes its birth in small stream, the department had a humble
beginning. Over the years the department has grown from strength to strengths
making it one of the most sought after colleges of Management studies in
Bengaluru
The Department of Management aims to instill the comprehension skills that
are required to understand the subject in toto. The Value Added Programme
(VAP), an activity beyond BU curriculum is an additional input imparted to the

About the Course
B.Sc - Bachelor of Science is a three year under graduate program established in the year 2014. The
course follows the semester pattern prescribed by Bangalore University. The duration of the course is
3 years divided into 6 semesters. The curriculum is followed as per the revised syllabus of 2014
(CBCS). In accordance with the revised syllabus laboratory and the library are updated regularly.
B.Sc - Bachelor of Science is a tri major course with Electronics, Computer Science and Mathematics. The core subjects are studied by the students in all the six semesters. Languages are studied during the first four semesters. There are also interdisciplinary subjects such as Indian Constitution
and Environment and Public Health in the Curriculum.
The students are evaluated based on their involvement and participation in lecture classes, assignments and practical classes. They are also assessed by the project work and seminars apart from the examinations
conducted by the College and the University.
Internal Assessment:
Internal marks are given based on the performance of the students in tests, assignments, seminars, attendance, punctuality, interaction relating to subject during class hours, approach in solving the problem, general awareness, progress, creative thinking,
development and the overall attitude of the student.
The department has well established spacious laboratories to provide good lab facility. This B.Sc course is designed to prepare individuals who are technically sound and capable of fitting into the modern IT and Electronics environment in the present industry scenario. The course provides the individual with a solid technical background and real time experience on tools to handle the most demanding aspects of electronic systems. The course provides an outline of various aspects of IT and Electronics systems in a broad manner, introducing analog and digital systems and the different ways of information handling, transmissions and processing. This requires students to take courses in electronics circuits and programming languages. This course aspires to keep every student updated on the latest in technology relating to the immediate industry scenario. The practical
exposure along with theory ensures that the student is moulded as per the requirements of the employers.

BBA – AVIATION MANAGEMENT
This course caters to those students who are seeking careers in management and operation in the air side activities of the aviation industry.
